A:The PropertySold website has been designed to handle virtually any type of private sale real estate. Each province and city listing page has dedicated sections to showcase; residential real estate (homes, townhouses, semi`s), commercial (office space, stores, nightclubs), condos, land / lots and farms independently through the use of dedicated links and URL`s. User`s of the PropertySold website also have the option of viewing listings using Google Maps technology. Our Google Maps allow user`s to configure what types of real estate they would like to display and can be sorted using any combination of property types the user desires.
Q:Will my real estate sell if I Iist it with PropertySold.ca?
A:PropertySold does not have a gauranteed sale program. User`s of the PropertySold website must realize that each real estate market is different and subject to change at any time. Making predictions about the housing market is outside the scope of duties performed by the PropertySold staff. In general, hotter markets in downtown areas of urban centers such as Toronto or Vancouver tend to generate buyer interest at a faster rate than smaller urban centers and rural listings.
The level of exposure each listing on our website receives depends primarily on two factors; the type of package purchased and the market conditions in the area where the real estate is being sold. User`s who choose the Featured Plus package will have access to our entire suite of marketing tools including; yard signs, bi-directional corner signs (optional), a personalized Marketing URL and exposure throughout our site as a "Featured Listing". Featured package subscribers will recieve all of the same features as a Featured Plus listing without access to a Yard Sign. Basic package subscribers do not have access to; yard signs, bi-directional corner signs or Marketing URLs.
Both Featured and Featured Plus packages are listed on the PropertySold website "until sold", Basic packages have a 3 month expiry. PropertySold members can track their listing exposure through their member`s area by viewing their listing statistics. PropertySold tracks how many times we show your listing as well as the number of times your listing was "clicked on".
Q:How long will my property be listed on your site?

Featured and Featured + package subscribers will have their property listed on our website "until sold". Basic package listings have a 3 month expiry at which time member`s can upgrade or renew their listing to keep it active on our website.

A:Yes, PropertySold provides listing subscribers with comprehensive listing statistics so you can accurately assess the level of interest in your property for sale on our website. To view your listing statistics log in to your user account with the username and password you selected during the signup process. On the member`s area homepage you will see statistics for "Number of Times Shown:" and "Number of Times Clicked:". Number of Times shown tracks the number of times your listing was shown on a page of our website also known as "Impressions". Number of Times Clicked tracks the number of times a visitor of our website clicked on your listing to view more information. If you are getting a large number of Impressions but not many clicks you may want to consider editing your listing to make it more attractive to buyers. Sometimes something simple like editing your main picture can drastically improve your click through rates.
Q:Will agents call me and what should I do about it?
A:Since your listing on our site offers your phone number as a means of contact, theoretically a real estate agent browsing the PropertySold website could see your listing and give you a call. While we cannot stop someone from picking up the phone, we do provide our users with an area to configure instructions for real estate agents. This can be a simple; "No agents please" message, or a message to any buyer`s agents who may have a suitable buyer for your property such as "Agents - willing to give 2% for a qualified buyer as commission". As the seller`s agent for your property the choice is up to you whether you would like to find your own buyer and pocket the entire real estate agent commission for yourself, or negotiate on your own behalf with buyer`s agents on a commission rate for the agent if they are able to produce a qualified buyer for your property.
